Paper and packaging

Gluing of paper packaging is a very widespread process of paper processing. It is used in the production of bags, pouches, envelopes, in the refinement of paper by lamination, as well as in the forming and sealing of packaging. A wide range of adhesives are used for these applications, from dispersion adhesives to hot melt adhesives, starch adhesives and glutin adhesives.

Dispersion adhesives

In the woodworking industry, PVAC dispersion adhesives are mainly used, divided according to water resistance into classes D1 to D4. Polyurethane aqueous dispersions are used in the cladding (3D) of furniture doors, with heat reactivation of the adhesive. In the case of cold cladding of wooden profiles, EVA-based dispersions are used.
