AGGLU Int. s.r.o.
Purpose
- The Code of Ethics is a set of ethical and moral principles, standards and rules that are binding without exception on every employee of AGGLU Int. s.r.o. (hereinafter referred to as AGGLU). Failure by employees to comply with the Code shall be considered a serious breach of work discipline.
- The aim of the Code of Conduct is to ensure the correct behaviour of all AGGLU employees towards each other, customers, the company itself and the external environment, and thus contribute to AGGLU becoming a long-term recognised and trustworthy company.
- The Code of Conduct also aims to build a positive relationship between employees and the AGGLU brand.
- In its business activities, AGGLU strictly observes all laws, regulations and decrees applicable in the territory of the Slovak Republic and the European Union.
- AGGLU does not commit corruption, respects competition rules and promotes a fair business environment.
Behaviour towards employees
- AGGLU strictly complies with the Labour Code and all other legal norms applicable in the field of labour law.
- AGGLU recognizes that its development depends on the professionalism, honesty, responsibility and loyalty of its employees. It values every employee who demonstrates the above qualities and ensures that all employees are provided with optimal conditions for their further professional development and decent working conditions.
- AGGLU is committed to avoiding any discrimination in the hiring, compensation, promotion or dismissal of employees.
- AGGLU ensures that the remuneration system for employees is professional and fair.
- AGGLU strictly complies with all regulations related to occupational health and safety. At the same time, it requires every employee to respect safety regulations and standards without reservation and to ensure that his or her actions do not endanger himself or herself, fellow employees or customers.
- AGGLU considers it unacceptable for its employees to consume alcohol or intoxicants during or before work hours.
- AGGLU is not averse to any constructive and decent criticism from employees that contributes to the development of the company or protects it from moral and material damage.
- AGGLU guarantees that no one will be discriminated against if they inform management of immoral or illegal activities occurring in the company.
Performance towards customers
- AGGLU is a customer-oriented company and strives to do everything possible to ensure that the customer is satisfied with its services, deliveries and service.
- AGGLU strives for the long-term satisfaction of its customers and therefore its services and goods must be reliable, of high quality and at a fair price.
- Every employee has a duty to strive to gain the customer’s trust and no one is allowed to gamble with that trust. Therefore, he always treats the customer ethically, professionally, courteously, honestly and helpful.
- If it is not possible to fulfil the customer’s wish or to provide the requested service or to meet the agreed deadline or other conditions, the customer must be informed as soon as possible and truthfully and a solution must be sought that is acceptable to the customer.
- The customer usually does not have the expertise, information and technical skills of an AGGLU employee and this situation in relation to the customer must not be abused, especially not to mislead the customer in order to gain an advantage at the customer’s expense.
- In the event that a customer’s behaviour towards an employee is vulgar or abusive, the employee has the right to politely ask the customer to stop the communication and to resolve the situation through his/her supervisor.
Behaviour towards business partners
- AGGLU is committed to earning and maintaining its reputation as a reliable and trustworthy company in the business environment and among the public. Therefore, it always treats its business partners fairly, openly and honestly.
- AGGLU shall always provide its business partners with true and complete information that is necessary for the conclusion of a business or other cooperation agreement. He also expects truthfulness and fairness from his business partners.
- AGGLU maintains confidentiality about the information it receives from its business partners.
- AGGLU undertakes to comply with all agreed contracts in relation to its business partners. However, if any unforeseen circumstances prevent the fulfilment of the contractual conditions, it shall promptly inform the partner concerned and seek a solution acceptable to both parties.

Standing up to competition
1. General principles
- Every AGGLU employee shall conduct himself/herself with integrity in the exercise of his/her profession, shall abide by applicable laws and shall make every effort to do a quality job, shall continuously educate and improve himself/herself and shall abide by applicable laws, regulations and standards.
- Every AGGLU employee is also a representative of the company and therefore acts in contact with the customer and in business dealings in such a way as not to damage the company’s property and reputation.
- Every employee must be loyal to AGGLU, and in the course of his/her work he/she must take care to protect the legitimate interests of the company, its customers, business partners and his/her fellow employees.
2. Communication ethics and employee relations
- Every AGGLU employee shall respect the human dignity of others, the principles of courtesy and the prohibition of discrimination of any kind.
- Each employee shall interact with fellow employees, customers and others in a courteous, tolerant and honest manner.
- Any form of physical or psychological harassment, including sexual harassment, humiliation or defamation, is unacceptable.
- The employee shall conduct himself/herself in such a way as to avoid or avoid conflicts in the workplace. However, if a problem or conflict arises in interpersonal relations, every effort must be made to resolve the conflict in a peaceful and cultural manner.
- The employee avoids conflicts with customers. If a problem arises in communication with a customer and the employee cannot solve it on his own, he immediately asks his supervisor for help in solving it.
- The employee shows appropriate respect and deference to superiors and performs assigned tasks conscientiously, consistently and efficiently.
- The supervisor treats subordinates with full respect and dignity, distributes work assignments reasonably and fairly, evaluates fairly, objectively and justly, and does not abuse the authority of the supervisor over subordinates.
- Employees show respect and tolerance for each other, help co-workers and create a good atmosphere in the workplace.
- If, exceptionally, conflicts arise, every employee shall make every effort to resolve these conflicts within the Company.
3. External presentation of staff, provision of information
- In public, an employee shall only provide information about AGGLU that is publicly available or intended for public disclosure. No non-public information, in particular information marked as internal, confidential or secret, may be disclosed without the express consent of management.
- An employee shall not publicly damage the reputation of AGGLU, management or other employees, in particular by providing false or misleading information.
- If a conflict of interest arises, or if the staff member is in doubt as to whether he has a conflict of interest, he shall submit a written request for resolution to his immediate superior.

4. Conflict of interest, misuse of information and position
- A conflict of interest arises when an employee’s private interest conflicts with his/her work duties, the interest of AGGLU or its business partners. A private interest includes any advantage to the employee, his family, close relatives and legal or natural persons with whom he has had or has a business relationship.
- Every employee is obliged to avoid conflicts of interest.
- If a conflict of interest arises, or if the staff member is in doubt as to whether he has a conflict of interest, he shall submit a written request for resolution to his immediate superior.
- It is forbidden to misuse confidential or other information obtained in the course of work in the Company for one’s own business activities or the business activities of third parties. All information that is not disclosed to AGGLU is considered confidential.
- An employee may engage in gainful employment in an identical or related field related to his/her job or AGGLU’s business only with the prior written consent of the Company.
5. Bribes and gifts
- An AGGLU employee shall not give or receive bribes.
- An AGGLU employee shall avoid situations that would obligate him/her to grant a person or company wishes contrary to the interests of AGGLU or its customers.
- If the gift cannot be refused or refusal would be impractical, the employee is obliged to inform his/her supervisor about the gift and, if the value of the gift exceeds EUR 20, to hand it over to the company.
- If the making of a gift is directly related to the purchase of goods or services, such gift, regardless of its value or nature, shall belong to AGGLU and the employee shall notify his/her supervisor and deliver it to the Company
- Business luncheons or dinners, outdoor events, and other similar gatherings shall not exceed a level appropriate to the employee’s position and the importance of the matter at hand, shall be approved in advance by the employee’s supervisor, and attendance shall not obligate or induce the employee to make a decision or otherwise act in favor of the donor
- A person who attempts to corrupt must be warned immediately of the unacceptability of such conduct and, if he or she fails to comply, all business contacts with him or her must be severed.
6. Use of AGGLU assets
- Employees protect AGGLU’s tangible and intangible assets; assets include equipment, machinery, apparatus, inventory, goods, supplies, etc., as well as know-how, non-public business, economic and technical information, licenses, rights and other information.
- If there is a risk of damage to the Company’s property, each employee shall, to the best of his or her ability and capacity, attempt to prevent such damage and, if this is not within his or her power, shall bring such damage to the attention of his or her superiors or other persons who are able to prevent or at least mitigate such damage.
- Employees shall not use AGGLU property for private purposes. Internal rules must be observed when using company telephones, mobile phones, cars, computers and other property.
- Employee’s work time is also company property, so employees shall not use it to conduct personal business without the express permission of their supervisor.
- In the event of proven damage to or misuse of AGGLU property (including know-how, leakage of information to competitors or third parties, misuse for own benefit, loss of and damage to tangible property) by willful misconduct or negligence, AGGLU may recover from the employee the damages incurred by the employee as a result of such conduct.
- An employee shall not misuse AGGLU property for his/her own enrichment, for example by appropriating the price or part of the price of a good or service and failing to remit it to the AGGLU treasury.
