Gluing the edges
Fusible adhesives based on EVA, APAO and PUR are used for gluing furniture edges, whether with paper, veneer, ABS or PVC. If we do not have suitable bending equipment, the application can also be solved using contact solvent adhesives. The choice of the appropriate adhesive depends on the applicability of the process equipment, the transport requirements and the end use of the products.
AG-CONTACT +
AG-KONTAKT+ is a high solids, high performance adhesive particularly suitable for laminating. Due to its high dry matter content, this adhesive is suitable for bonding almost all types of laminations as well as thicker decorative surfaces. The adhesive has excellent strength and a strong bonded joint. The adhesive is not suitable for bonding soft vinyls, flexible plastics, expanded and extruded polystyrene, PP and PE.
AG-CONTACT
AG-KONTAKT is a fast curing adhesive with good heat resistance suitable for bonding various materials with wood, metals and some hard plastics. The adhesive is suitable for bonding foam, textiles, fibrous materials, some hard plastics and many other porous and non-porous materials (these are bonded by applying the adhesive to both surfaces to be bonded) due to its adhesive strength and pressure sensitivity. The adhesive is not suitable for bonding soft vinyls, flexible plastics, expanded and extruded polystyrene, PP and PE.
